Our Business Approach
What makes Anglo Irish Bank a different place to work?
We operate in specialised, highly focused teams,
where we tailor our products and services to fit our
clients' needs. Each staff member is an effective owner
of the business they work in. Direct, fast answers
mean satisfied clients; this is evidenced by the fact
that 70% of our clients are repeat business customers.
Of course we couldn't deliver such an agile, proactive
service if we weren't willing to listen to new ideas and
encourage entrepreneurial flair.
Anglo Irish Bank was founded in 1964. In 1988 we
grew our business into the UK at which time we had
only 128 employees. Now we're over 1,800 people
strong and operating in seven countries across Europe
and North America.
There is a unique culture in Anglo, a sense of working
together as a team. A sense of ownership prevails in
our work and our commitment to excellence. Our
focus on relationships very much shapes how we
work with our clients. It is relationship banking at its
best.
We continuously invest in training to ensure that your
talent is developed and your potential is realised. As
our business continues to grow and flourish, we need
leaders for the future who are ready for tomorrow's
challenges.
Our unique culture is reinforced by our flat
management structure, which means you get to work
alongside senior people on a day-to-day basis. We also
believe in open and honest communication so you'll
not only know how you're doing, you'll also be kept
up-to-date with the Bank's performance strategies. If
you are ambitious and eager to do a good job at Anglo,
you'll be noticed, constantly challenged, supported and
empowered when you join our organisation.
We are looking for people with the talent to seize
the initiative and make decisions, people with the
determination to learn. If you think you possess
these qualities, then at Anglo you can look forward
to a highly supportive and welcoming environment
with an "open door" policy - a place where you can
build your career and go further.
