I guess property and development has become a bit of a hot topic recently, but I’ve always had an interest in it. So, when I was looking for a graduate programme it was great to find an organisation whose main focus is commercial lending. With Anglo Irish Bank I feel there is a distinct career path in place which will ultimately give me the opportunity to become a specialist in commercial lending.
Upon joining, I was given a great deal of responsibility. That may sound intimidating but I’ve never felt out of my depth because of the support network my colleagues provide. Thanks to all the internal training, I have built on my technical and professional skills. I am frequently liaising with quantity surveyors, solicitors and other professionals and now I am more confident when asking technical questions.
The open and friendly attitude here creates a positive work environment; this ultimately ensures that we can deliver high quality results for our clients.
