At Anglo Irish Bank you are given responsibility and great opportunities from the start. Within my first few days of starting work I was discussing issues with senior management, meeting with clients and even got the chance to attend some corporate hospitality events. I feel fortunate to work for an institution like Anglo Irish Bank where, as a graduate, you get the chance to make a real contribution to the business and where your efforts are recognised.
I have been actively involved in brokering deals with major clients and have become a key member of the team in which I work. There are tremendous opportunities for career progression in Anglo Irish Bank and I’ve found that the Bank is providing me with great support at this early stage in my career.
Training and development is really important in Anglo Irish Bank. I am currently studying for my Chartered Banker’s qualification; not coming from a finance-specific background I think this qualification will really help expand my knowledge and build my confidence. The bank is actively supporting me with my studies and my colleagues have been extremely accommodating and are always willing to share experiences and offer their advice.
